I see this as a proof of concept build to get the public attention. I expect they will soon try an actual building with conduit foam insulation in the walls or concrete fill in the walls.
Poured cthe idea of poured concrete houses has been around for a long time IIRC one of Thomas Edison's inventions but one that never took of.

I would guess that it is similar to block construction also.  I am wondering how they get vertical rebar in there as it is code in this state.  That is unless you have some structural testing to prove it isn't needed.  Being in the middle of building my third home and doing most of it myself makes this very intriguing.  Plumbing and conduit could also be run in the middle with a little drilling also.
