I *really* wish cad software would all default to exporting as mm. I am not aware of a single host software that assumes inches over mm. If I had the power to set a hard standard for STLs, I would make it mm.

Since the STL file format has no metadata to communicate to the host software the units for export, the host software could only guess if the file was improperly exported.

It is around .3" x .2" x .7"

But it is coming in way to small.
He is using catia v5 r20
He says there isn't a way to set the stl file units before he saves. Like I can do in solid works.

Any idea how to remedy this "small" issue.
I have tried repairing this with netfabs cloud service. But netfabb won't let you pick units anymore. Unless I'm missing something.
