Nope, 3D Systems claims 1/3rd of their filament is Coke bottles. The rest has a drastically different chemical composition to make up for the PET variant used in coke bottles.

Blow molding and 3D printing aren't very similar processes.

Before they blow mold the bottle they injection mold the the initial plastic "slug".

25% is what they are saying on the website.

Any plastic item that has a recycle symbol with a 1 on the bottom is either PET, PETE, or some form of PET. I do not believe the soda bottles will work well since there additives in that plastic. (Elmoret helped me find that out with his google fu)

Agree. I do have access to the same stuff they make the coke bottles from though.
