			<description><![CDATA[<p>I had the same problem as this when trying to make a small sphere for the top of a bishop (Chess pieces) I just found out that apparently the follow me tool has issues creating small curved surfaces so if you build the piece on a larger scale and then scale it down it will work.&nbsp; (I haven&#039;t been able to try this yet)</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>Ok, so I gave up on SketchUp and downloaded openscad. </p><p>Including the time to download, figuring out how to use it, till I got a design I was happy with. I spent maybe 30-45mins, a lot less than I spent fighting SketchUp yesterday.</p><p>Here is what i did in openscad:<br />---<br />union(){</p><p>cylinder(h=2,d1=20,d2=20,$fn=100);</p><p>cylinder(h=8,r1=3.6,r2=3.6,$fn=50);</p><p>translate([0, 0, 8])<br />sphere(r = 3.6,$fn=50);</p><p>}<br />---</p><p>Pic shows what I ended up with :-)</p>]]></description>
