When operational, print 1-2 items per week, usually with about a 20% success rate (communications interrupts, setup issues, dimensioning inaccuracies).  Would be quiet happy to produce items for others, but would want accuracy / success rate improvement first.

Once accurate and repeatable, could perhaps charge (as a number of organisations in NZ do currently), but more likely to do for 3D printing exposure / experience.

I am new to this and have an SD4. I am still learning the machine's limitations and working on upgrades to make it more accurate. If I get it to the point where I can reliably print multiple copies of a design with good results, I plan to market that item.

Would I print for a stranger? I would print the design that I know will work and sell for a good profit. I would not, however, accept others designs and attempt to produce an acceptable result. I am finding that there's more to this than simply loading an STL and slicing it.

If i could get my filastruder give me what i need, i would be printing all day every day, but i cant because i just cant get it to work. Biggest issue is the need for the winder that cost another $150.

I would love to print badge holders for people i work with but i cant. I only managed to print one for my self with remaining filament. Once i ran out i decided to waste money no more and buy an extruder. Turned out to be a different kind of waste so far. Perhaps when i get the winder things will change, but until then all i do is complain.

Ultimaker 2 is awesome printer but it cost 3 times the ROBO3d. There are reviews on youtube from https://www.youtube.com/user/barnacules1 He's got some fair reviews.

I was wondering if I could get all your opinions on something.

a) Hows often do you use your 3d printer/s?

b) Would you print something for a stranger? If yes, what would you expect in return? If money, how much for a downloaded phone case, if not money, then what other incentive will make you want to print something for somebody else?

c) Which brand and model printer do you own?

I'd be extremely grateful if I could get your input on this.
