As soon as your sure that is functional, then you need to go and get the bed level.

Once your printer has a level bed and has saved the "gap" information that goes along with that, your print head should no longer contact the glass.

It 'might' have coincided with the installation of Firmware J, but can't be sure..

Any ideas?   Seems to print ok..
