Yeah I agree with what you stated. I have never bought a roll of ABS ever, so I would not know those tolerances. Thanks for the info/feedback.

Nice review; but just so you know, quality filament from quality suppliers is already +/- 0.02mm.

And re your Cons; user errors never count. Its also best to be genuinely realistic about these things - spending money is not a con; its accepted that is generally the basis of a commercial transaction for the majority of people If you really have nothing bad to say about something; don't just pad it out with big reaching statements like 'Costs money'.

I bought my Filastruder a couple weeks ago and this is my review of it. When the package came, I was really excited, and I immediately ripped open the package. Nothing was damaged, and I was really happy to get the pound of MG94 with the order to purge with. The assemble took longer than 3 hours, partly because I was going really slow and cautious. This was a 4/10 difficulty level build. (I am still in high school, and this was an easy build). Compared to building a printr bot jr, the Filastruder was much easier to build, and the instructions were very clear.

Pros (when compared to buying filament)
Make filament in custom colors
Make filament in need quantities on demand
Make filament that has tolerances of + or - 0.05mm
Less money on shipping (you can buy 10 pounds of pellets and pay the same price for shipping for a 2.2 pound roll of filament)
Fun to assemble
Easy to assemble (I am still in high school, and this was an easy build)
Free shipping

Cons (when compared to buying filament)
Spooling by hand or drill is time consuming (not a problem for me anymore since I bought the Filawinder)

Melt filter
Tim packaged both the melt filter and the Filastruder in one package, which was nice.

Pros
Filters out crap that i accidentally get in my pellets
Simple install
Works as described no quality control issues
You can use normal pliars and some finesse to get the retaining clip in. (You don't actually need any circle clip pliars, but it is easier if you have them)

Cons
None.

Overall I am happy with the purchase. I recommend it.

EDIT: Made the review more of a review.
