We have phased out the SD2 frames, and all printers are being made with either the SD3 or SD4 frames.

So if the only difference is the print bed, then one could order an SD2 pro for $499 (and get it in the SD3 frame) and add the SD3 heat bed as a spare part and effectively have an SD3 for $550 instead of $599.  Just change your bed sizes in repetier.  Nice big_smile

The Zip tie is for shipping. You should clip it off before you print. We've used hose clamps in the past, but we would never make a zip-tie a permanent part of a printer.
