I've also been lurking here and elsewhere since mid-July, waiting and scheming for my printer, which arrived about two weeks ago. This is a very fertile community and it's been great to see it develop solutions to a non-"idiot-proof" product , many of which I've utilized, as a proudly practicing idiot.

Since the device's delivery, I've fell in love with a very valuable product, felt the disillusionment of defeat (and "stupid" and "klutzy"), and the exultation of "winning" (and overcoming "stupid" and "klutzy"). Just the type of activity to help my retirement.

I'm currently actively, and successfully, printing, in spite of many broken parts and cobbled solutions. Having printed several critical parts needed to eliminate the cobbled solutions, I'm currently feeling quite cocky and secure (not like this morning). I hope to contribute when I can although I expect to have my ups and downs.
