It looked to me like they were mixing pellets to make their filament blends, then pelletizing the filament so the pellets wouldn't be any cheaper than just buying the filament. I don't really see the point re-extruding what started out as filament if it was originally made to printing tolerance.

I bet you could mix those with natural PLA at like 60:40 or so to bring the average cost down.

They are expensive but I bet those blend together really nicely.

$35 per kg? Yikes. This stuff costs less than $10/kg per ton, so they're basically keeping the same markup.
