You gotta modify! Glass bed is a must It does an ok job out of the box but man the solidoodle filament I got for free as part of the sale is total crap. Constant jams and plastic dust on the extruder wheel. Switched to some IC3D abs,  a world of difference. Now if my V6 would get here!

The eventual goal is to build my own printer probably coreXY. It's allot easier to build your own when you already have one.

I finally bought a printer after years of waiting. I went with the SD3, and will be modifying it shortly. I've read and learned tons form this form and look forward to contributing. I am a mechanical engineer by trade so i will do my best to get all the performance, (and build area!) an SD3 frame has to offer.
