<![CDATA[SoliForum - 3D Printing Community — Fan Doesn't turn on?]]> https://www.soliforum.com/topic/66/fan-doesnt-turn-on/ Tue, 13 Nov 2012 09:20:15 +0000 PunBB <![CDATA[Re: Fan Doesn't turn on?]]> https://www.soliforum.com/post/4501/#p4501 I just fixed mine tonight, mine had a red and black wire out of the fan that was spliced into the black and black wires on the connector.  When I pulled back the braided wire keepers coming off the extruder I found where they were spliced jiggled the wires, I got a sporadic connection.  Whoever soldered them together did a really poor job.  I just resoldered them and works great now.

My LED cable was on backwards.  Find that cable on the board an try it the other way..

it's the one between the X and Y.

Is it supposed to? Or only in special circumstances?

If it is, I have checked all the connections to the board on the back and they are all snug, what should I do?
