PLA requires a fan...sometimes you can be lucky and get away without one, but if you don', you get results similar to the pics you posted.

Extrusion works well with good lines but when it has to travel some distance, some PLA continues to ooze.  I know this is kind of a common problem with PLA but I'm hoping someone has some settings that reduce how much you see it.

I tried adding retraction, z-uplift, and playing with the temperature (see below). I can say lower temperatures work better but I'm still having a lot of problems.  Has anyone else come up with some good setting that work well with PLA?
