			<description><![CDATA[<p>I tried the white lithium grease on the rods.&nbsp; I would not recommend it.&nbsp; I wiped down the rods clean and applied a light coat of the white lithium grease over the rods.&nbsp; After a couple of hours of printing I noticed black gunk showing up on the rods.&nbsp; Then once the printer cooled down, the carriage was sticking when it tried to move left and right.</p><p>So I clean the rods again and just applied a very light coat of oil (RC mini-bearing oil) and it works great.</p>]]></description>

I wipe them down with pure alcohol maybe once a week.<br />It&#039;s just a habit I got from my other printers. 			<description><![CDATA[<p>What is everyone using to maintain their rods with to keep the print head moving smoothly.&nbsp; I used white lithium grease as other people have suggested.&nbsp; Curious if anyone has found any other options for keeping the sliders lubricated.&nbsp; </p><p>This would be a good place to post other maintenance suggestions that people find help maintain the quality prints we all want.</p>]]></description>
