			<description><![CDATA[<p>Hey YSB, </p><p>If you want to to do that, I&#039;m worried about the bed to be very fragile to handle material to be machined... And the 8 mm rods are kind of small to be able to maintain your spindle right when forcing against material.</p><p>Even if like you say, it will be for small stuff, it will be far more efforts that just a FDM nozle...</p><p>You&#039;ll have to mechanically reinforce the bed supports, and the XY carriage. Plus, it will not need all this Z depth for machining.</p><p>I would sell the SD2, and buy a 3040 on ebay to start with CNC router the good way... </p><p>But, if you want to do it for fun and challenge, than no reason to consider that, we should definitely try it!!</p>]]></description>
