And I'm loving it.

I bought it to a guy that didn't know what it was. He got it as a downpayment for a job he did in another guy's place and couldn't pay him.

When I saw the listing on ebay, I jumped on it last january.

So it was a all original solidoodle from early 2013 I'm guessing by the presence of the sanguinololu. all parts were OEM.

With the help of this great community and a few $, I upgraded it with new carriage (thanks lawsy) a new E3D (thanks filastruder), a new heater bed (thanks willy), a new Z rod and slop nut (thanks RN02 ... somehtin' !! Can't spell your name sorry, but the name of the "slop" nut should suffice!) and I'm looking now on how to put all bearing in rotating parts.

I've learned a lot with this machine, I always been attracted by CNC and home prototyping, and this machine brings it to my desk. I'm using it for fun, didn't do anything very usefull from now, just some RC hobby parts and frames for quadcopter (I'm a heavy flyer), toys for my 2 adorable daughters, etc...

My wife considers it as a 4D printer, considering the amount of time I'm spending on it ! But it keeps my brain working, and I'm thanksfull for that, and I can spend a full day just looking at it working, and worrying at the result, analysing the defects, etc... Now that it has been a couple of month, even my wife enjoys its presence, and when I start a print job and go to work, she sends me picture of it working, so this machine also helps for couple communication !!

I just wanted to get properly introduced, and say thank you to the all community here. I like reading forum when I have a little time off, and it's been great reading you guys.

I'll see you around, and you guys take care and keep going!

I'll try to bring my little improvement touch when I will be able to.
