You can do two things and I recommend both:
1) Check your Z tab. If it is set too high, you will run into those issues since the first layer wasn't completely 'squished' onto the bed.
2) Go to your local glass store and buy a 8x8 glass or mirror. Spray said glass Aquanet or any other extreme hold hairspray. Let it dry, then slap it onto the bed. Some people spray hairspray onto the bottom of the glass, allowing it to bond to the kapton, some people use clips.

But by using the glass, which is highly recommended all over Soliforum, you will have to adjust your Z tab since your surface will be higher and don't want your hotend crashing into it.

I recently purchased the Solidoodle 4, and I've encountered a problem where the print doesn't stick to the print bed. Around the third layer, the corners of the print begin to bend up, and eventually the extruder "grabs" it and pulls it out of the correct position. I wipe the bed with alcohol swabs before every print, and my bed is heated to 100, so no other solutions I've tried so far work. Any advice would be appreciated.
