HI all,

I am generating gcode files in slic3r and cura for an xyz Davinci pro 1.0, then opening them in theXYZprint or XYZware proprietary program to send them to the printer.

The g-code on this site and others was great. Thank you.

I have got gcode working and the first 20mm of height prints perfectly, Then the printer stops printing at 20mm high and mark the job as finished. (attached image.)

The XYZprint program shows this partial print as being it's output, XYZware shows the whole file as being ready to print, then stops unexpectedly at the same layer.

Current version of XYZ software, Cura and Slic3r. (updates on all 3 run and installed, Windows machine as XYZ doesn't support Linux)

So, two questions if I may:

(1) Does anybody know the fix? Is it a machine or software setting?
and

(2) Is there a way to go directly to the printer and bypass the XYZ interface as another solution.?

With thanks in advance.

Andrew

I don't know what you did with your original tag. But i you want use antoher brand you need blank tag NTAG 213.
I bought these from amazon
https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B07DS2 … &psc=1

Remember that you can't refill a tag and you need to disable internet to XYZ printing software. Because XYZware verify original tag database. You can search on forum special version of XYZware.

It's possible to use Slicr3 with Da Vinci 1.0A stock firmware? The current version is 2.0.0.

We got the printer two weeks ago and so far I just print two models downloaded from XYZ gallery and one that I made an "H" on Sketchup to test supports and bridges. I found many interesting articles in here and on Slic3r documentation, but I didn't manage to get an functional .3w file converted from gcode.

I've created a simple box on sketchup just to test infill and layer height, but when I save gcode as .3w it didn't work.

This is the start of gcode

; generated by Slic3r 1.2.9 on 2015-10-20 at 09:27:11

The filename must be the same as the 3w file (test.3w)?

I'm using Windows 8.1 and I'd rather not open the printer to get the SD card if not needed, because I don't want to lose the warranty.
