Hi,

I have been reading that some people suggest to print a replacement for the solidoodle extruder (the MK5 jigsaw extruder replacement) because the acrylic extruder that brings the SD breaks easily. However, I got a Solidoodle 4 and apparently I didn't get a regular acrylic extruder (at least it doesn't look like the regular acrylic extruder, but a 3D printed version of it...). See the attached photo to see the extruder I got with my Solidoodle 4.

Do I really need to print an extruder replacement such as the MK5 jigsaw replacement? Or does the Solidoodle 4 includes a better and more durable extruder than the acrylic one?

And... what other replacements for the Solidoodle should I print to improve its performance and ensure its durability? (I am really new to 3D printing...)

Thanks in advance.
