Yeah I guess the ones you designed would suit!
I must admit I've not really done enough research into the replacement parts to know what's what.
I think I'd like to throw out the original rails etc etc so I'll have to look into Lawsy's replacements as well.

It'd be awesome if you could send said part to me, if it's not too much trouble.

So the first one in the above post works with lawsy's linear bearing conversion.  You use the Lawsy's parts for the Y-axis and Mine for the X-axis.  It is just a little more user friendly with the Bulldog and E3d.
Let me know when your ready.

I ended up taking the wire wrap off the wire bundle and found a small cut in my wiring. It was from the wire bundle rubbing against the metal angle brace along the side. It was difficult to repeat by moving the wiring unless it was positioned just right. After I found the cut, I soldered the wires together and put heat shrink over the splice. I haven't had the issue since.

I would heat up the nozzle and and just grab the cabling at different points and slowly move them around to see if those dips occur from cable movement. You could have a short/open anywhere from the thermistor bead alll the way back to the connector on the motherboard.

I'll be testing for intermitent cables on the extruder after the current print finishes, but it'd be great if someone with more experience could point me towards other possible causes.
Oh and I have indeed done a PID Autotune.
