If you are running on Win8 and accept the free upgrade, be aware that your unsigned COM port driver will disappear. You will need to go through the process of allowing the unsigned driver and reinstalling it for everything to work again.

The upgrade also lost my WiFi USB driver too and I had to go find that too. <sigh>
