I don't mean to derail the thread, but I can make a modified version for anyone to try.

I typically like to test my designs before uploading them so that no one wastes filament, but I discovered the other day that adding countersinks should be possible if I move the carriage mount holes over by 1mm.

If you'd like to give it a shot for me, I'd be glad to upload the file for you to try. You should only have to reprint that one part (the bottom), and all of the other pieces should work just fine with it. Let me know, and I'll work on getting it ready to be printed.

edit: The carriage bolts are pan heads aren't they? I think they should have a 6mm head OD.

edit2: Attached the file for anyone interested.

I started with the MK5, but was a little disappointed with the E3D fit. I'm now using Bozs and it holds the E3D *very* securely. I drilled out and counter sunk the mounting holes so that I could use the stock bolts going through from the front, with nuts in the back. I've provided the feedback to Boz, and hopefully will get an updated version.

I love this design, but the carriage bolts either need to be shaved down approximately 40mm, or find a set of 4-40x60mm bolts.
Since i like the ability to switch between extruders as I please, this creates an issue since I cannot find these bolts anywhere in store. However, a series of washers and aluminum spacers should work. E3D is a very tight fit.
Lawsy's mk5 or Boz's REV series are the way to go. Bare in mind that Boz's design will not work with the stock hot end...only an E3D. So mk5 is your best bet for now.
