https://www.soliforum.com/topic/5742/filament-breaking/ Mon, 03 Mar 2014 15:30:41 +0000 PunBB https://www.soliforum.com/post/51355/#p51355 It would appear that you ended up with a bad roll of OCTAVE.  They had some kind of recall on the rolls that were wrapped with plastic wrap.  You have two choices 1. you can call your vendor and they will most likely replace it with a new roll.  or
2. you can pull off about 1/4 of the roll and throw it away.  You'll find that the inner part of the roll is much less brittle.  I had the exact same issue with a roll of black that looked just like yours and it's almost impossible to get that plastic wrap off.
