]]> Wed, 19 Feb 2014 17:52:39 +0000 https://www.soliforum.com/post/50236/#p50236 <![CDATA[Using it all (and then some)]]> https://www.soliforum.com/post/50234/#p50234 I completed the mod to use an M3 Z axis and in my first print to test my work, I chose a wind turbine blade from my old CNC days.  I had to stop prematurely as the coupler and the adjustment knobs were just about to make contact with other parts or the bottom.  Time to make some low profile adjustment knobs, as well as lower the coupler.  I also noted that I am getting banding still, but it does not seem to be as periodic as before.  This could be belt tension I assume and will be working towards solving this new challenge.
I have one specific question for the Repetier knowledgables.  Where is the setting for the landing spot where the print head emits a puddle just before starting to run the code?
