yep! SD2 and dropping in an E3D this weekend.
I wasn't exactly looking for help on figuring out my ABS woes, though it would help.
I was simply wondering if anyone has used HHP on prints. I know they have HighTemp PLA (recently ordered some but won't receive till spring), and some have experimented painting their PLA prints.
Unsure if anyone has tried this. If not, I will run some experiments and post results!

I have no experience with painting PLA but I can say this... Just because the paint won't melt doesn't change the temp that the PLA will melt.
Once you get your E3D installed and dialed in you will wonder how you ever survived with out it.  Then you can work with many different types of filament.  It is amazing the abuse an E3D will take.  I got one of those recall spools of OCTAVE with the plastic wrap bonded to it.  Instead of sending it back I just used it and other than some brown marks on my print the E3D didn't even flinch.  I would have fully expected it to clog.

I am eternally dealing with fumbling attempts to print ABS. I want to, but it either never sticks, frays during the print, or has thousands of pinholes. I have dialed that problem back significantly with PLA, but by printing PLA exclusively, I cant create parts like Lawsy's mk5 for example due to the melting point of PLA.
But an idea occured! What about High Heat Paint?? Some HHPs can withstand well over 1300f. Has anyone ever tried HHP on PLA??
