I've lowered the original $470 asking price to $420 with shipping.  That is the same cost as buying these components separately, but this package is pre-assembled and ready to ship without the 4 week lead time that Filastruders have right now. 

You could be making your own custom colored ABS filament before your neighbors without spending anything extra or waiting for a month.

There's no need to wait 4 weeks for a Filastruder kit, because I have the following package ready for shipment:

• Filastuder w/ Kit Enclosure (fully assembled and functional, received in November '13)

• 10 lbs OSPrinting Natural ABS Plastic

• 5 OSPrinting ABS Colorant Packages (red, blue, yellow, black, glow-in-the-dark blue)

This package includes the 1.75 mm nozzle and does not include a hopper.  The Kit Enclosure really makes the Filastruder great to look at while providing a rigid platform for operating horizontally or vertically.  This thing is built like a tank.

The unit is lightly used and well taken care of.  It hasn't been used in about a month, so it may be beneficial to heat the barrel well and remove any solidified plastic.  I would also like to point out that the barrel nipple (where the hopper connects) is about 15 degrees off center at the moment.  I stopped extruding my own filament, so I never corrected this.  I'm sure this Filastruder will make a nice addition to any maker's workshop.
