so i had a random thought, i attempted fishing once upon a time, but gave it up, probably because i wasnt any good. Anyway, my uncle would use a fly reel, basically a spool on a holder. So i was wondering, could this work as a winder for the filament i extruded from my filastruder?

My printer is down for maintenance so i cant test it out now, but saw a simple fly reel on thingiverse, maybe someone can give it a shot and let us know if it works. smile
