yes I have. Just now testing thermistor with multimeter per wiki and I am getting nothing. Strange that this happened with the windows shut down. I have my hands on the thermistor now and the clear casing has a small amount of cracking on the tip. The area beneath the thermistor, on the extruder head, is ever so slightly blackened. Did I push the temps too hard with the T-Glase? Perhaps it is time to get the E3D...

Hopefully a new one will get me up and running. At least it will be a cheap fix.

Thank you for your help

Thank you. After this occurred I went out to run some errands and left the solidoodle unplugged the entire time, so it has had plenty of downtime not being connected to anything. The errors persist.

Here is my procedure:

Plug in solidoodle
plug in usb
start Repetier
press connect
Message states "Marlin V1" etc

and all the rest you know.

0C on extruder temp and steady 25C on Bed temp.

Turning on extruder temp yields no change, turning on bed temp no change.

Pressing any direction arrow shows:
"Printer stopped due to errors...M999"

G28 will park axis

Extruder fan acts normal as well

I know I am repeating myself, I just want to be clear about the behavior I am seeing.

Meaning press the button on the mainboard? Yes I have tried that. Is there a procedure to do that other than just pressing the button?

I tested the resistance on my heater as well, ~8 ohms (a little less actually but my multimeter has a dying battery)

I am guessing my thermistor went kaput.

I just got a spool of T-Glase and was trying to print a small shot glass when Windows 8 decided it would update in the middle of the print. Everything just shut down and the printer froze. I unplugged the SD3 and let my machine go through its update.

Afterward I restarted everything, plugged in my SD3 and reconnected with RH and the temperature on the extruder is reading 0 degrees. The heat bed will not respond either. Trying to move the extruder head returns:
"Printer stopped due to errors. Fix the errors and use M999 to restart"

I don't know what the errors that I am supposed to fix are. I have checked all connections, everything was fine five minutes prior. I unplugged extruder and thermistor and plugged them back in to be sure.

Now I have a very large paper weight that does everything but print or even heat up.

Upon type the M999:

"Error: Line number is not the last line number +1, Last Line 0
Resend:1"

and it just repeats that over and over again.

Now it says:
"Extruder switched off: MINTEMP triggered"

I have tried to connect on another computer and the exact same thing happens.

It may be useful to note that I was printing at 215C for the T-Glase to adhere properly. my PID calibration was good, so the temperature was rock solid... no jumps past the 230C limit...

Everything was fine until my computer decided it would shut down mid print!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
