The problem isn't exactly solved, but I did figure out that the heat bed was what was causing both problems, it looks like it shipped with a small concave right in the middle, and when the head bed is not connected I don't have the USB failing.. Looks like I may have received a defective heat bed from Solidoodle???

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lw7v5cFYMNU

One problem solved, another one rears its time wasting, money costing, project ruining head... I just fixed my clogged barrel/nozzle problem, only to be given a new, more complicated one by the Soli-devil. I have my printer plugged into the wall with nothing else attached, and tried running prints with two of my PC's. There seems to be a software or hardware issue with my Solidoodle 2 now, just after installing my new aluminum heatbed from Solidoodle. The printer is acting funny, some prints don't start printing, and others (no matter what I do with the z tab/bed leveling) seem to want to start higher than I set the Z at. It's weird, and very frustrating. I'm thinking about sending the horrible metal box to Solidoodle for repair because I cannot solve this new and improved problem..

Specs: Solidoodle 2 w/heated platform, ABS, Windows 7 SP2, PronterFace Ver. (?)
