I have the same issue, and have attempted to follow the http://revryl.com/2013/08/06/install-unsigned-drivers/ method, but I can't seem to get it to work. Do I just double click on the serial_install.exe file and run (because even though it says it has done something, nothing has changed). If I try to manually update the firmware the other way (update driver etc.) it also doesn't work
I am running Windows 8.1 . I've had my solidoodle (Sang board) for a while now. But upgraded my pute because it was randomly dropping out.

I have a working printer, and I followed the instructions to the letter. The solidoodle website said that Device driver software would install automatically, but 2 of my different computers said they can't find the software. Can anyone tell me where I can just download it? I already set up RepetierHost.

Here's what I get:
Driver Device software not successfully installed
Please consult your devices manufacturer before getting this device installed
       USB serial. :No driver found
