			<title><![CDATA[Custom Filament Spool (For drill winding filament)]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>Hi,</p><p>I got this idea from Tim where he said he drill winds the filament (and saw it in one of his videos), but I did not want to use any of my rep-rapper spools as the inner diameter is so small.&nbsp; I only have 2 empty Makerbot spools (large inner diameter), but I would&#039;ve needed an adapter or a hack job to attach it to a drill!</p><p>Instead I designed this, 6 printed parts, 4&quot; x 5/16&quot; carriage bolt (nut &amp; washer), #6 5/8&quot; counterhead screws and some cardboard (must be quite stiff).&nbsp; I wound 1092g of filament on it and it works very well.&nbsp; Of course the core/washers are re-usable for each spool you make, as they are only required to spool the filament on.</p><p>Inner mount hole is the same as rep-rapper spools (32mm)</p><p><a href="http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:208233">http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:208233</a><br /><span class="postimg"><img src="http://www.soliforum.com/misc.php?action=pun_attachment&amp;item=4193&amp;download=0" alt="http://www.soliforum.com/misc.php?action=pun_attachment&amp;amp;item=4193&amp;amp;download=0" /></span></p><p>Ben</p>]]></description>
