That looks like it broke at the glass. I wouldn't suggest soldering that back together. The hotend gets to roughly 235C ... might be hot enough to remelt the solder. I think replacement is your best option.

If you slide the black heat shrink off you can get a better look at where the thermistor is broken.

Looks like you will need a new one.
You can get them pretty cheap on eBay if you don't feel like waiting for solidoodle technical support.

Can anyone provide instructions as to how to repair as I am DOA until this is fixed.  I sent an email to solidoodle support but I have not heard back yet and I would really like to print a test at least.
