I agree, we dropped the ball on that.</p><p>As for the firmware, I&#039;m not familiar with the exact issue, but I don&#039;t think things are quite so simple as modifying the look up table. </p><p>It&#039;s high up on the list for firmware fixes.</p>]]></description>

I suppose they could put a note on the printer itself recommending temperatures, but that&#039;d be including documentation with the printer.</p><p>Just goes to show the importance of getting it right the first time.</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>Just got my SD2 with heated build platform. I followed the startup links on the website to the letter. It said run my build at 215C on the extruder and 105C for the platform.&nbsp; Ran some great parts with stock settings.&nbsp; I decided to calibrate&nbsp; my extruder today and see warnings (I forget where I saw it.) That said do not run your extruder over 210C. Now I am assuming that warning was for older extruder a before they went with the cartridge heater.So what is it? 215C+? Or 210C max?&nbsp; Since I can&#039;t find current info on the heated platform, what is the max on that?&nbsp; Thanks!</p>]]></description>
