Do you mean thermocouple? Happy to send a replacement, all you have to do is send an email (filastruder@gmail.com). I searched my email for correspondence with you, here is the last email, dated 9/4:

That explanation helps a lot! It sounds like there is a problem with either the sensor or the temperature measurement portion of the controller.
The sensor is a k-type thermocouple. Do you have any on hand?
Can you remove the yellow housing from the sensor and inspect for broken wires?
I am guessing the sensor is defective/damaged, but either way we'll get it sorted out.

I have not been able to find a replacement for the thermistor that came faulty and now I tried to look for it at your store but to no avail. Please tell me if I can buy one at eBay and the name for me to be able to try use my filastruder.

Wow! I didn't realize you carried E3D hotends now. It's great to finally see a US supplier for these; that dollars-to-euros conversion has been a deal-breaker for me. Any plans to support the bowden-feed version?

Indeed. Some of the suppliers have raised their prices, and FedEx Freight has nearly doubled their fees for some of the larger shipments coming in. Unfortunately, we had to raise prices $10 to compensate.

Hi guys,

One year ago, I posted on here on Soliforum about a contraption I'd hacked together in my garage. If you haven't seen it, the first few pages of the thread are a pretty entertaining read:

I can't believe its been a year already. Much has happened - from workbench to Kickstarter to online store. In the last 6 months, almost 1,000 Filastruders have shipped to over 30 countries. People have done some pretty neat things, from conductive carbon impregnated ABS to closed-loop automated winders, with lots of blobs and ramen in between. At least three businesses have been started or grown significantly as a result of Filastruders getting out there in the wild. Pretty neat.

I want to thank you guys - so I've created a discount code for Kit Enclosures, Melt Filters, and E3D hotends. The discount code is "OneYearSale", and it gives you 20% off on the above items. The discount code is good for today only - it expires at midnight. I kept it to just items that I have in stock, ready to ship quickly - it would be a bit questionable to extend this to Filastruder Kits when the lead time is already > 4 weeks.
