Hello SoliFourm,

I'm fairly new to the 3d printing world so please excuse any ignorance I may show.

So I was printing last night and everything was working like a charm. I turned it off (didn't "park" the extruder, not sure if that is relevant). Got up this morning and began to work again, but now the Z axis is at least 3 inches too low.

I've tried resetting my printer and my computer software and no dice there.

I noticed that when you start the "Repetier Host software the in the manual controls tab the X, Y and Z values are red utill you hit the limit switches. So I hit all the switches hoping this would help "calibrate" the axis. It seemed to work for the x and Y but the Z axis automatically reset to -47 and then scrolled down to 0 and wouldn't raise beyond that point. I think that is a key clue to what is going on I'm just not sure how to fix it.

Any help would be appreciated

Ok, so I quickly solved my own problem and feel like an idiot but in case anyone else has this problem I'll lleave this here.

All I had to do was hit the home button (which I didn't know was actually a button) and it reset the min value as zero.

HAPPY PRINTING!
