			<description><![CDATA[<p>The z-tab or z limit switch is the only thing that controls z height(in hardware) so when you hit &#039;home z&#039; it has to activate that switch if it does not then something is interfering with it.</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>so I kinda &quot;fixed&quot; the problem,<br />last night I had taken while the machine was on and hooked to my computer; turned the motors off and wound the z axis down.<br />-this I guess resulted in the tolerance issue,<br />-so to fix I wound the z axis back up,<br />-problem is im back to printing just fine, <br />-but don&#039;t know if I compromised my build space of 8&quot; in the z axis.</p><p>does anyone know ?</p><p>I thought it was weird that the z axis was limited in travel besides the z axis switch.</p><p>thoughts?</p>]]></description>

			<title><![CDATA[z axis, maybe x&y messed up]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>if I hit the z home the z limit switch gets activated and the z axis goes home like it is suppose to.</p><p>but when I run a job it seems like the z will only go up so far and will not engage the limit switch.</p><p>anyone have any ideas how to reset my machine to zero so to speak?</p><p>*I have restarted the machine, my computer, uninstalled the software, reinstalled the software. <br />I have a Solidoodle 3</p><p>thankyou,<br />Ryan.</p>]]></description>
