]]> Sat, 19 Oct 2013 04:12:04 +0000 https://www.soliforum.com/post/39339/#p39339 <![CDATA[Re: Replacement Nozzle Heater Assembly?]]> https://www.soliforum.com/post/39337/#p39337 You may be able to get an 'easy out' inside the threads to remove whats left, otherwise one other thing to try is drilling with incrementally larger bits until there is just paper thin remains of the threaded part then you can pick the rest out... the problem is keeping it centered and straight while drilling... a drill press or mill is very handy for the task.

I have no idea how to remove it, I tried micro chiseling it but only chewed up the block even more...   I need to get a new heater assembly I would guess?

My question mainly is, can I use a cheap chinese DIY Heater assembly for a mendel / rep rap style for $64 USD or must I use the one octave or pp3dp supplies for 80+ shipping?
