I just got done with this same mod a couple weeks ago. I used Lawsy's official firmware (not the one you can download from solidoodle site).

M303 E-1 C4 S90 worked ok for me to start the bed PID. On line #198 of Configuration.h you will find where to type in the values. Make sure to un-comment #ifdef PIDTEMPBED on line #173.

On line 94 of Configuration.h is the thermistor setting for the bed. The QU-BD heatbed uses type 1. The line should look like #define TEMP_SENSOR_BED 1 //{SD Patch}.

Love this card & the heatbed.

Dale

I just installed my new QU-BD heatbed and I have a few questions.
In Lawsey's guide, he says to enable PID in line 161 of configuration.h and enter the PID values on lines 174-176. I cannot find those lines. Well, I can find the lines but they have nothing to do with PID.
When I try to autotune with "M303 E-1 C4 S90", my extruder heats up but not the bed. Also, I have read that I have to change the thermistor type to 80. I apparently don't know where this is or how to do it because when I try changing what I think is the right value, I get an error when compiling.
I am using an Azteeg X3, which is working well after quite some time.
