Make sure you are using the correct setting for your start.gcode. We don't recommend speeds over 3000. We've seen some people who have tried to speed up their printers, and it hasn't helped their prints, to say the least.

Its definately more user friendly than skeinforge, and processes gcode HEAPS faster.
Settings seem to be alot easier to navigate.

Profiles for slic3r are very easy to save & share. Its 1 single .config file.

Is there anyone out there that has already received there Solidoodle interested in using slic3r and toying/tweaking the settings & sharing with all of us?

Nobody can be held personally accountable for anything that may go wrong with these profiles but for us new guys, a starting point as far as settings/profiles goes would be great.
