I have no idea why they used 4-40 mind you, but it sure seems like they did.

I got some 4-40 nuts (finally, the little devils are hard to find) and there is no doubt about it, on my jigsaw they are definitely 4-40 bolts sticking out.

If I look at the closeup of the side view and assume the black bolt sticking out the bottom is M3, then the chrome bolt sticking out the front seems a lot like a 4-40 bolt after I pick off measurements with gimp and do some calculations :-).

I'm thinking there is enough bolt sticking out that I could print an accessory holder that could slide on the wood piece and then be screwed on the ends of the bolts, if only I knew what size nuts to use?

Anyone know for sure?

P.S. Looking at it from the side, they really don't look like the same size bolts as all the other black ones that face the other way.
