Yeah, I've done the extruder calibration, and checked the stepper controller voltages etc.
Using slic3r I was infilling every layer, but I've moved to using kisslicer because it seems to slice better and support is easier to remove. Though I have the same issue with Kisslicer at higher resolutions.

Calibration: Did you calibrate both the steps/mm and also the 0.42 wall thickness? These both need to be done.

Also, for 0.1mm layers, are you infilling/supporting every layer or every third layer?

It seems most of the time when I use 0.1mm profile the support material and infill print as fluff instead of discrete lines. When I watch the start of the print the first layers seem to be ok, and the perimeters come out good also. But later on the support and infill end up with gaps in the line like small blobs, sometimes it will string together a thin line in places. These blobs don't stick to the poor support below (often air) and therefore get dragged around until they contact a surface such as the outer surface of the model.

Is it a extrusion width issue for the support and infill that causes this? Note, I have no issue with 0.3mm layers, and have calibrated the extruder using 0.3mm layers as per the wiki article.
