It's not updated, that behavior is indicative of the old, buggy firmware which is why I asked if it was used. You can follow the directions here to update it - http://www.solidoodle.com/how-to-2/how- … -firmware/

If you look at the log in Repetier when it connects, it will tell you the version of the firmware.. If it doesn't mention Lawsy, then it's the old version.

Just curious, what is the serial number? It should be stamped into the bank of the case.

Solidoodle 2
Repetier-Host Solidoodle V0.85b

In the manual control, when I press on the home icon, the extruder moves foward and to the right if you are looking at the printer head on. I believe it should be back and right for the home position.

The x and z axis seems to be working fine when I press on the x and z home icon.

When I press the y home icon nothing happens to the extruder but on the GUI the Y value becomes 150, thinking it's at the y home.

Another issue is, after setting all the axis to home and I try to move the extruder in any direction, the extruder moves in the -X direction and crashes the extruder on the left and I will have to press on the Emergency Stop button to stop the motor because there are no limit switch on the other side.

Any ideas?
