I received some T glass today. So far it is doing ok, not perfect but ok. Extruder at 215 and bed at 80. I am tryng to print this now http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:510270 I know that T glass is FDA appoved. Even the mesh is manifold , with ABS it sprung a leak. I found some food grade silicon that I thought might be usable to coat the outside to plug any holes
Just about ready to test the latest T glass print for leaks , pics to follow.

I finally got my TGlase working. Kind of.

First of all, it sticks best to glass. Once I swapped back to glass from buildtak I had no sticking issues.

The best word for it seems to be "stringy". It is more difficult to get good accurate prints than ABS or PLA. However it is definitely stronger and stiffer than ABS.

I printed a small bottle and amazingly the screw on cap worked. However the design was flawed. The walls were too thin and the bottle split in multiple places. I WOULD reinforce it with my CAD software BUT NO, that guy just had to hop on the Thingiverse bandwagon and ONLY POST STLS, SO I CAN DO NOTHING!
(Sorry. I really hate only getting STLs.)

It is good for making anything that comes in contact with food since it is FDA Approved.

EDIT: 225C is a good temp.

Yesterday I dusted off my spool of t-glase and went into calibration mode for an upcoming project that will be printed in PET.

I am running a .6mm nozzle @ 220C with very impressive results. Had to tweak my destring settings slightly to account for the bigger nozzle. Watertight single walls no problem with no warping. I forgot how good this stuff was.
