so far i get better result by having a "tent" covering the lower part of the nozzle, so this way air don't blow directly on the thermalcouple.. not happy with this method.. but it prevents direct blow of air..

update: with tent setup, i can get it up to 173c, now i am considering "normal"

Some flavors of ABS exhibit more die swell than others.

You can increase the hole size slightly if you need to. It is drilled with a 1/16" drill by default.

I have to lower my temp to 165 in order to print 1.75mm (actual size is about 1.74 so maybe i should go couple degree lower)

*never mind...  165 is too low... back to drawing board.

i was rotating my pipe nipple because of the motor made the opening rotate to the side, so i made it face top again.. and now the thermocouple is right above cooling fan... (the opening hole is covered with kapton tape)
does it matter? since copper spreads heat very fast, maybe the top and bottom temp difference is not that much to begin with.
any suggestions?
