I have to update however that it may have been a fluke . I posted in the morning and it was working then for switching to one loop from two. However, this evening I was trying to switch from 2 layers to 3 (infill), and it didn't work.

Your method didn't work for this particular setting- but upping to all 1s then back to 1 worked perfect

Ok, Maybe I just got lucky once . this tip might not always work, which vastly diminishes it's usefulness. But the part where I say "the solution for me has always been" still seems to always work.

Many of you may have the problem with repetier and slic3r where you try and change configuration data, say, the "infill between layers" and when you save the changes it reverts to the old settings.

The solution for me has always been typing in "infill every outrageous number like 2000", save, then redo with my actual desires.

This was a tiny annoyance.

Today by chance I tried instead adding a lot of zeros *before* my digit, and it worked properly! So in my example I was switching from infill every 2 layers to infill ever 1 layer, and I entered "0000000001" and it switched properly.

If this was a pet peeve of yours, perhaps my solution will be welcomed.
