At this size it is best applied using soapy water like you would window tint. This stuff sticks to everything well and best to itself.

I am inclined to start snipping off squares from my roll and selling them, packed wet if I could, if there was any interest.
Our beloved vendor asking $15 for an 8x8 replacement square is nuts, maybe if it was for 3 pieces I would bite.
