i was needing to extrude Polyetherimide ( ULTEM 1010) it will need at least 280C to extrude. how should i proceed?
i got 10 lb from plasticsgeneral.com for $80+shipping

My filastrider heated up to 230 and this probably caused nozzle jam (by overcooked plastic).

The included heater will get you to 210C. It is limited for safety reasons, to avoid dangerous thermal decomposition products. You can at your own risk upgrade the power to the heater to 18v 5A. That should get you over 300C. You should probably upgrade the thermocouple at that point to something without teflon insulation.

Hi, I'm thinking of trying extruding mixed polymer filament. What is the max temperature it can reach? (The other kickstarter DIY filament extruder goes to 400 C, and reliably holding 350 C for long production runs)
