If enable auto cooling is checked then make sure Min print speed isn't something crazy. It should be 5-10mm/s by default. But if it comes on at the smallest layers then this might be kicking in. If you have a fast speed there it might do what you are describing.

I don't know if this even applies to you but it could be something to check.

The 1.68 and .7 came from Solidoodle's default settings I don't know why. But I think it's not the cause.

The fast forward thing happens exactly when it's at the middle and about to do the upper downward direction Arc.

None of them look to be causing any issues.

I was curious though about your extrusion multiplier at 70% with a filament diameter of 1.68. Have you run the extruder calibration yet to set your extruder steps/mm?
