So when it started a print run the head just moved straight across and started, excess filament was often wiped of at the start.

I then took it home, set it up following the same process to install the software.

When I clicked home however the platform wound itself down about 50mm or more.

When I start a job it moves the extruder head to the center, then winds the platform up to 0, backs it off 10mm then back to 0 again before the extruder moves off to start the print run.

Can anyone explain the difference? It's really annoying and it dumps a small blob of filament in the middle of my plate every time.

I much preferred the 'home' arrangement it had at work, even if I don't know how it got that way.

Is there a config file I can copy off my work computer perhaps?
