Here's mine:

thingiverse.com/thing:114554

It actually has hooks that way it grabs onto the frame and reduces the bending. Print this part as 100% solid. It's an important piece of the printer and requires the strength.

I would love some feedback from users.

worth noting that these should be replaced in pairs...! the originals have 3 perimiters and the infill is next to nothing! its only a matter of time before these break IMO.

Replacing one only with a different infill from the other will cause the motor to skip.

I have done my first modification to my SD3. I was worried about the Y axis idlers breaking because they were so thin and you could see them flex.

I printed these http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:79737 and installed them.

So far they are working just fine and I don't have to worry about them breaking.

There hasn't been any noticable increase in printing performance, just peace of mind I guess.

You need to be careful removing the screws that hold the old brackets to the case. SD used loctite red which holds really well and you will strip the screw head trying to remove it. I used the hot air attachment on my soldering station to heat it up and the screw came out with no problem. If you don't have a hot air source, a really hot soldering iron may do the trick.
